Overview

Founded to promote running in Interior Alaska, Running Club North (RCN) is an RRCA-affiliated nonprofit that welcomes runners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. With nearly weekly events throughout the year — from snowshoe races and trail runs to triathlons and the iconic Equinox Marathon — RCN keeps the Fairbanks running community connected through every season. The club also supports new runners with resources and training advice, organizes series like the Usibelli and Drew Harrington Trails Running Series, and maintains a strong tradition of volunteer leadership. Whether you’re new to running, new to Fairbanks, or chasing your next big challenge, RCN offers a way to connect, grow, and share the joy of running in Alaska’s Interior.
