Bright Eyes Bright Future is a compassionate nonprofit organization founded to provide essential eye care to children in underserved communities around the world. Established by Dr. Ray Hardy and Krissy Hardy of Summit Family Eyecare in Bend, Oregon, the organization’s mission is simple yet powerful: empower children by helping them see clearly. Since its inception in 2018, Bright Eyes Bright Future has transformed countless lives through mobile eye clinics, vision screenings, and free eyewear distribution.

Rooted in the belief that vision is vital to learning and development, the organization operates with the understanding that 80% of what a child learns before age 12 is through their eyes. A pair of glasses can make the difference between a child struggling silently and one who confidently engages in education, play, and personal growth.
