Onward Endurance is a small race production outfit run by ultrarunner Wes Plate, best known for the Copper Kings 100 in Butte, Montana — a course built around Wes's own family history in Butte's historic mining community. The Copper Kings 100 grew out of informal "fat ass" test runs in 2023 and 2024 before becoming an officially permitted event in 2025, produced in partnership with the Montana Endurance Trail Foundation.
