Push your limits at the Olympic Peninsula’s 24-hour running celebration
Overview
Salt Creek 24 isn’t just a race; it’s a full day and night of adventure in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most stunning coastal playgrounds. Hosted at Salt Creek Recreation Area, this event blends endurance, camaraderie, and jaw-dropping scenery into a challenge you can make completely your own.
You’ll circle a 1.3 mile loop overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, framed by towering evergreens, lush mossy trails, and even a touch of World War II history. Whether you’re chasing a mileage goal, training for something bigger, or testing your grit in Last Runner Standing, the clock runs for 24 hours, but how you use that time is entirely up to you. With aid stations stacked with fuel (and surprise nighttime treats), volunteers who cheer louder than the wind, and the chance to stage out of your tent, vehicle, or canopy, Salt Creek 24 is equal parts community, challenge, and celebration.
