Overview
Alicia Browder is a Bellingham-based running coach, ultrarunner, and physical therapist assistant who believes that running should make life better—not take it over. She’s coached athletes from their very first 5K to record-breaking 200+ mile ultras, blending science-backed training with lived experience at every distance.
With a background in kinesiology and physical therapy, Alicia specializes in helping runners stay healthy, bounce back from injuries, and get stronger through smart, personalized training. As someone in long-term recovery, she also brings unique insight and support to runners balancing training with personal growth and big life goals. Whether you’re chasing a PR, going long on the trails, or just learning to love running again, Alicia will be your biggest cheerleader—and your occasional butt-kicker when you need it.
Philosophy
“You control the training log—the training log doesn’t control you.”
Alicia’s philosophy is about consistency, balance, and joy. Training should fit into your life, not dominate it, and every run should leave you feeling stronger—whether it was a grind-it-out day or one of those effortless flow miles. She believes: Running should be fun (yes, even the hard days). Consistency beats perfection. Every runner deserves a plan tailored to their goals, body, and lifestyle. Big dreams are worth chasing, no matter where you’re starting from. Above all, Alicia’s goal is to help you fall in love with the process of training while reaching levels you didn’t think were possible.
