Friends of Capitol Forest

Washington

Overview

Friends of Capitol Forest (FOCF) is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to mountain biking, trail stewardship, and outdoor recreation in Capitol State Forest. Since 2005, we’ve worked side by side with land managers, legislators, and fellow user groups to expand and protect trail access while keeping our existing network in top shape.

From monthly work parties to shuttle days and our annual Capitol Forest Festival, we’re all about building community while giving back to the trails we love. Rooted in a passion for riding and a spirit of collaboration, FOCF is committed to making Capitol Forest—and beyond—a welcoming, sustainable, and adventure-filled place for everyone who loves the outdoors.
