Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition (WMBC)

Washington

Overview

The Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition (WMBC) has been championing trail access and mountain biking in Whatcom County since 1986. We bring together riders, volunteers, and youth to build, maintain, and advocate for sustainable trails while fostering a vibrant biking community.

From Galbraith Mountain to the Waterfront pump track, WMBC coordinates thousands of volunteer hours each year, teaching trail-building skills, promoting responsible recreation, and ensuring trails are open for everyone. Through youth programs, outreach initiatives, and partnerships with schools and community organizations, we’re inspiring the next generation of riders while keeping our trails—and our community—strong, connected, and thriving.
