Experience the magic of Alice Lake trails in the first stop of the 5 Peaks BC Series
Overview
The season kicks off in one of Squamish’s most beloved playgrounds: Alice Lake Provincial Park. Towering peaks, lush forests, and sparkling waters set the stage for a day where every stride feels like an adventure. Whether you are chasing podiums, discovering the trails for the first time, or cheering from the sidelines, this race has something for everyone.
Runners will circle the Four Lakes and flow through emerald forests, lively creeks, and world-famous singletrack. Kids, Sport, and Enduro distances let you choose your challenge, but every course ends with the same rewards: a buzzing finish line, tasty snacks, and the energy of a trail community that knows how to celebrate. With hikers, families, and volunteers joining in, Alice Lake feels less like a race and more like a festival in the forest.

About 5 Peaks

5 Peaks Adventures is one of Canada’s most beloved trail running organizations, fostering a welcoming and adventurous community for runners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Founded with a mission to bring people into nature and connect them through trail running, 5 Peaks hosts events across the country, from coast to coast, encouraging exploration, challenge, and joy on some of Canada’s most beautiful trails.
The heart of the organization lies in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, a set of five regional races held in distinct geographical zones across Canada. Each event offers a range of distances, from 1 km kids’ runs to the “Grit” category (approximately a half marathon)—ensuring a fun and inclusive experience for families, beginners, and seasoned trail runners alike.
In addition to the Series, 5 Peaks hosts larger-scale trail adventures like the Powderface Mountain Marathon, STOKED ULTRA™, STOKED SCRAMBLE™, and TranSelkirks Run, offering longer, more technical, and truly epic experiences for those seeking to go beyond the half marathon mark.
More than just races, 5 Peaks events are gatherings of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts who value challenge, community, and the beauty of nature. With an active presence on Strava and social media, and a deep connection to partners and charitable causes, 5 Peaks Adventures is a trail running movement, encouraging people to get outside, stay inspired, and always keep moving forward.
