100 Miles of Wild Beauty and Brutal Climbing in Washington’s Teanaway Backcountry

100 Miles of Wild Beauty and Brutal Climbing in Washington’s Teanaway Backcountry

Overview

The Teanaway Country 100 is one of the toughest and most rewarding mountain ultras in the Pacific Northwest. With an out-and-back course boasting approximately 31,000 feet of elevation gain, this race demands grit, preparation, and resilience. Expect remote singletrack, long climbs, technical descents, and wildly variable weather conditions—hot during the day, freezing at night, and the possibility of rain, snow, or lightning storms.

This grassroots event blends jaw-dropping alpine scenery with a supportive trail community. Finishers earn a coveted belt buckle and the satisfaction of completing one of Washington’s hardest 100-mile races. Looking for something shorter? The Teeny-Way 50K (11,000 ft gain) takes place the same weekend.
