Overview

Oly Trail Runners has been part of the Olympia trail running community since 2004, when founders James Varner and John Pearch started inviting others to join their weekday runs through local parks. From early group runs at Priest Point and LBA Park — often ending with a stop at a local brew pub — the tradition of bringing runners together has carried on. Today, Oly Trail Runners is a nonprofit dedicated to building community on the trails, welcoming runners of all levels, from casual explorers to ultramarathon veterans.
