Overview
The Rogue Gorge is a trail running celebration like no other, showcasing the wild beauty of Oregon’s most iconic river. Set in peak fall colors, runners weave through old growth forests and race alongside a river that carves through lava tubes, gorges, and waterfalls. The crisp mountain air, the roar of whitewater, and the glow of autumn leaves create a backdrop that feels magical and unforgettable.
In 2025, the race introduces a brand new 50 miler point-to-point adventure, while the 50K, Half Marathon, and 12K return with their beloved singletrack charm. Whether you want to push your endurance deep in the wilderness, or soak up a shorter scenic run, Rogue Gorge offers something for everyone; racers, crews, and visitors alike.

Course Description
The Rogue Gorge and Upper Rogue River Trail are a National Recreation Trail that deliver pure Pacific Northwest magic. The route hugs the cliffs above the river as it dives into underground lava tubes, crashes through chasms, and flows over waterfalls. Expect singletrack under towering Douglas fir and ponderosa pine, stretches of cool shaded forest, and sections that open to rushing canyon views. The terrain is fast in places but technical in others, with rocky bluffs, roots, and river-cut gullies to keep your focus sharp.
