Course Description
The Perpetua Coast trails are as varied as they are stunning. Runners will weave through lush rainforest dripping with ferns and moss, climb to sweeping coastal viewpoints, and run stretches of sandy shoreline with the Pacific in full view. The 50K is a true tour of the Cape, with rugged climbs and descents, technical singletrack, and rewarding ridgelines. The 20M offers a punchy mix of forest and ocean, while the Half Marathon highlights the most iconic coastal cliffs and beaches. Expect cool sea air, changing terrain, and unforgettable vistas that will test and inspire you.
50K runners will take on the most elevation with long climbs and rewarding summits. The 20M follows a slightly shorter loop with less climbing but no less beauty. The Half Marathon begins with a shuttle ride to its point-to-point start and finishes with an oceanfront finale at The Adobe.

Land Acknowledgement
We honor and recognize that this event takes place on the traditional lands of the Alsea people, who have been part of this landscape for at least 6,000 years. Yachats and Cape Perpetua bear deep evidence of this history, where cultural burning practices once kept meadows open for hunting and gathering.
