Everyone’s favorite Mt. Hood race

Overview

A Pacific Northwest summer staple since 1999, the Mt. Hood Trail Runs offer breathtaking views and heavily shaded routes through old-growth forests. Runners can choose between three distances, all set in the shadows of Oregon’s tallest peak. With courses traversing the iconic Pacific Crest Trail and lakeside loops near Timothy Lake, this event delivers a blend of high alpine vibes and grassroots trail running charm.

This event is beloved for its incredible volunteer support, low-key atmosphere, and post-race community celebration. Whether you're a seasoned ultrarunner or looking to challenge yourself on gorgeous single-track, Mt. Hood is a summer trail race highlight you won’t want to miss.
